Barrenjoey Peninsula - Toddler Trails
Explore Lindsay Pryor National Arboretum and National Rock Garden
Service Description
Join us in exploring the Lindsay Pryor National Arboretum and National Rock Garden at Barrenjoey Peninsula. We’ll explore the oak forest looking for acorns and seeing how many different types of leaves we can find. Who can find the biggest oak leaf? We'll stop in the forest for a snack before returning to the start. Our walk is 1km. A pram-suitable wide gravel path follows the walk for anyone who needs to bring a pram along. Toddler Trails have been created with your increasingly independent child in mind. As kids find their feet, many prefer to be out of the baby carrier and would rather push their pram than ride in it. Toddler Trails allows your child the freedom to explore on their own two legs, while you get some outdoor and social time with other parents/carers. MEETING POINT: Car park for National Rock Garden, Cnr of Barrenjoey and Lady Denman Drives, Canberra. GPS point 35°17'31.5"S 149°04'52.1"E Map tinyurl.com/a9e958cd MAXIMUM NUMBERS: Sessions are limited to 15 adults.
