Castle Playground - Toddler Trail

Service Description

Join us on a 900m round trip along Lake Burley Griffin to the Castle Playground. We’ll wander the pathway from Rond Terrace, Parkes way, parking lot to the Castle Playground, spend some time playing there and then return to the carpark. Toddler Trails have been created with your increasingly independent child in mind. As kids find their feet, many prefer to be out of the baby carrier and would rather push their pram than ride in it. Toddler Trails allows your child the freedom to explore on their own two legs, while you get some outdoor and social time with other parents/carers. WHERE TO MEET: Parking area across Rond Terrace carpark, Parkes Way. MAXIMUM NUMBERS: Sessions are limited so please book your spot via the MEGA app and update your attendance through the app if unable to make it. WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable clothes and footwear for walking and active play. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water and healthy snacks. No dogs please. FITNESS LEVEL: This event is suitable for parents/carers of all fitness levels. Mums, we recommend you obtain your 6 week clearance from your medical practitioner prior to walking. BABIES & CHILDREN: This event is suitable for parents/carers who are baby wearing or have children who are walking. We will walk on gravel and grass, you can bring a pram if you like. Meet & Move sessions aim to help parents/carers and their children be active together. COVID GUIDELINES: please do not attend if you or your children are unwell.
