Gungahlin Hill 1.5km - Toddler Trail
- Cocoparra Crescent and Nuleri Street, Crace, ACT 2911
Gungahlin Hill Nature Reserve - 1.5km long in and out walk. Join us on an exploration of Gungahlin Hill Nature Reserve. The reserve is part of Canberra Nature Park and is a 297 hectare low lying grassland. There are lots of stumps and fallen logs to explore, climb and balance across. It’s well treed with plenty of shade in the reserve. This walk is a little longer than our usual Toddler Trails. It is not pram friendly. We will explore the old, gnarled scribbly gums and brittle gums scattered amongst the grassland. Toddler Trails have been created with your increasingly independent child in mind. As kids find their feet, many prefer to be out of the baby carrier and would rather push their pram than ride in it. Toddler Trails allows your child the freedom to explore on their own two legs, while you get some outdoor and social time with other parents/carers. In cold and wet weather we will do a shorter version of the walk. WHERE TO MEET: The stile to access Gungahlin Hill is on Cocoparra Crescent, Crace near the T-intersection with Nuleri Street.
