Megafauna - Toddler Trails

Megafauna at the Botanic Gardens!

  • Australian National Botanic Gardens, Clunies Ross Street, Canberra ACT 2601

Service Description

Megafauna at the Botanic Gardens! Join us as we take a trip back in time to see what it was like to live with gigantic animals. We'll start at the visitor centre and follow the path through the rainforest gully, rock garden, up to the eucalyptus lawn and red centre before looping back to the start. For those that have time at the end, we'll stop for a coffee at Pollen cafe. Pram and wheelchair friendly. More info and map here: https://parksaustralia.gov.au/botanic-gardens/do/whats-on/megafauna-myths-and-legends/ Toddler Trails have been created with your increasingly independent child in mind. As kids find their feet, many prefer to be out of the baby carrier and would rather push their pram than ride in it. Toddler Trails allows your child the freedom to explore on their own two legs, while you get some outdoor and social time with other parents/carers. MEETING POINT: Visitor Centre, Botanic Gardens Canberra MAXIMUM NUMBERS: Sessions are limited so please book a spot via the MEGA app and update your attendance if you can no longer make it. WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable clothes and footwear for walking and active play. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water and healthy snacks. FITNESS LEVEL: This event is suitable for parents/carers of all fitness levels. Mums, we recommend you
