Oxley Hill - Toddler Trail

Service Description

Oxley Hill - 1km loop Join us in exploring Oxley Hill. Starting off from the boulder edged car park, our walk will follow the stepped path up to the Oxley trig station before looping back around to the start area. This walk is dotted with lots of low rocky outcrops for kids to explore, climb on and around, and jump off. There’s also a simple playground with a rocker and tyre swing. Total walk is 1km loop. Toddler Trails have been created with your increasingly independent child in mind. As kids find their feet, many prefer to be out of the baby carrier and would rather push their pram than ride in it. Toddler Trails allows your child the freedom to explore on their own two legs, while you get some outdoor and social time with other parents/carers. WHERE TO MEET: We’ll meet in the car park at the end of McKibbin Place, Oxley. Map https://www.mappedometer.com/?maproute=913328 MAXIMUM NUMBERS: Sessions are limited so please book your spot via the MEGA app and update your attendance through the app if you are unable to make it. WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable clothes and footwear for walking and active play. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water and healthy snacks. FITNESS LEVEL: This event is suitable for parents/carers of all fitness levels. Mums, we recommend you obtain your 6 week clearance from your medical practitioner prior to walking. BABIES & CHILDREN: This event is suitable for parents/carers who are baby wearing or have children who are walking. Meet & Move sessions aim to help parents/carers and their children be active together. COVID GUIDELINES: Physical distancing is required and do not attend if you or your children are unwell, or anyone in your household is awaiting the results of a COVID test.
