Service Description

Returning to pole after having a baby? Or just had a bub and keen to get back into exercise? Then Mums and bubs is for you. These supervised practice sessions are open to everyone, however, they are designed for parents and caregivers to bring their young children while they train. Music is quieter and be aware, there will be babies so, ah, expect a certain amount of baby related noise. EVENT DETAILS: Day and Time: Wednesdays - 11AM Location: 27 Colbee Court PHILLIP, Canberra, ACT, Australia Cost: $10 per class paid directly to iSpin via cash or eftpos Limited spots available for MEGA Mums so please update your attendance if you are unable to make it. Parking: Street parking available Child Friendly?: Yes - babies and children are welcome to attend. There are foam building blocks to help entertain kids. Equipment needed: a perspiration towel and a water bottle. What to wear: Pole dancing clothes aren’t just fashion statements! Skin sticks to the pole, so the more skin exposed the better. We suggest wearing short shorts, as you will need as much of your legs and knees uncovered as possible. Wear a comfortable top, such as something you’d wear to the gym (a singlet may be preferred to a t-shirt, again so that more skin can be used). Most students pole barefoot. Intensity Level: Beginners and up. Pre- participation requirements: Please speak to your doctor before returning to/beginning aerial sports after having a baby. Our instructors are not qualified women’s health physios and are unable to offer medical advice. Please arrive 10 minutes early for all classes, especially the first one, so we can introduce and familiarise you with the studio.
