No Canberra Springtime is complete without a visit to the Tulip Top Gardens. It is a magical garden - one of the most enchanting places in the Canberra region: bursting with blooms and dripping in blossom, the gardens are a true feast for the senses. Spread over four hectares, Tulip Top Gardens is family run and home to 1000 blossom trees, half a million bulbs and 100 000 annuals. Layers of flowers and colour are everywhere you turn and each new space is as breathtakingly beautiful as the last. Join us for a meandering walk and picnic at the gardens. Toddler Trails have been created with your increasingly independent child in mind. As kids find their feet, many prefer to be out of the baby carrier and would rather push their pram than ride in it. Toddler Trails allows your child the freedom to explore on their own two legs, while you get some outdoor and social time with other parents/carers. COST: $20 per adult paid to the gardens on entry, children are free. WHERE TO MEET: We will meet just inside the MAIN GATE entry (please note there are multiple entry points). Please leave ample time to get from parking spots to the main gate. Please message via the MEGA app if you have any issues finding us, or are running late. MAXIMUM NUMBERS: Sessions are limited so please book your spot via the MEGA app and update your attendance through the app if you are unable to make it. WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable clothes and footwear for walking and active play. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water and healthy snacks. FITNESS LEVEL: This event is suitable for parents/carers of all fitness levels. Mums, we recommend you obtain your 6 week clearance from your medical practitioner prior to walking. BABIES & CHILDREN: This event is suitable for parents/carers who are baby wearing or have children who are walking. Meet & Move sessions aim to help parents/carers and their children be active together. COVID GUIDELINES: Physical distancing is required and do not attend if you or your children are unwell, or anyone in your household is awaiting the results of a COVID test.
