Service Description
Wildflower Triangle 1.3km out-and-back walk - Great for feeling like your on a bush adventure (when in the suburbs), expansive views, logs to balance on and playground play for snack stop. Join us in exploring the Wildflower Triangle, a small wedge of bush that sits between Bindubi Street, Cook and the Mt Painter Nature Reserve. It boasts native woodland, understorey plants and an area of grassland. Our 1.3km walk is on rough bush track in parts. We’ll visit a small playground for our snack stop, before returning to the start. The return walk offers views across to Canberra’s mountain ranges. Toddler Trails have been created with your increasingly independent child in mind. As kids find their feet, many prefer to be out of the baby carrier and would rather push their pram than ride in it. Toddler Trails allows your child the freedom to explore on their own two legs, while you get some outdoor and social time with other parents/carers. WHERE TO MEET: The dirt car park is a little tricky to locate, so we recommend you look at a map before jumping in the car. The car park is on the Western side of Bindubi Street, Cook at GPS point 35°16'04.6"S 149°04’28.3"E It’s right next to the underpass where The Bicentennial National Trail goes under Bindubi Street.
