Urambi Hills - Toddler Trail

Service Description

Join us in exploring Urambi Hills Nature Reserve in Kambah. Meeting at the dirt car park - the first part of our adventure will see us navigating our way through the gate before joining the wide dirt track. We’ll walk for 450m up a gentle incline to views over to the ranges. On our way back, through the open bushland, we’ll be on the lookout for small boulders and logs to explore. We’ll let the toddlers lead the adventure which may include some supported climbing, balancing and jumping. We’ll finish up at Learmonth Drive Neighbourhood Playground where there’s a great little fort, climbing net, swings and unique two-person motorbike with sidecar rocker. Toddler Trails have been created with your increasingly independent child in mind. As kids find their feet, many prefer to be out of the baby carrier and would rather push their pram than ride in it. Toddler Trails allows your child the freedom to explore on their own two legs, while you get some outdoor and social time with other parents/carers. WHERE TO MEET: The dirt carpark on the corner of Meredith Close, Kambah (across from 147 Learmonth Drive). MAXIMUM NUMBERS: Sessions are limited so please book your spot via the MEGA app and update your attendance through the app if you are unable to make it. WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable clothes and footwear for walking and active play. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water and healthy snacks. FITNESS LEVEL: This event is suitable for parents/carers of all fitness levels. Mums, we recommend you obtain your 6 week clearance from your medical practitioner prior to walking. BABIES & CHILDREN: This event is suitable for parents/carers who are baby wearing or have children who are walking. Meet & Move sessions aim to help parents/carers and their children be active together. COVID GUIDELINES: Physical distancing is required and do not attend if you or your children are unwell, or anyone in your household is awaiting the results of a COVID test.
